Early Intervention

At Jellybean Family Psychology we promote child development and value the importance of early intervention and the profound impact it has on a child and family’s overall wellbeing and functioning.

As a registered NDIS provider, we offer a number of services to support families and children with developmental delays and/or disabilities.

Our team of Psychologists and Developmental Therapists provide an intervention program the offers targeted early childhood supports through developmental and therapy services. Via face-to-face intervention sessions, our therapists support children to meet milestones across all developmental areas, including cognitive, social, emotional, sensory, fine and gross motor.

Family Capacity Building

We work closely with families to develop individualised plans and goals recognising that parents and caregivers play a vital role in their child's development and best understand their child’s unique strengths and challenges. Through psycho education, support, and resource sharing with families we aim to help them better understand their child's needs, learn effective strategies for improved behaviour management, and Identify difficulties in social interactions, self-regulation, and emotional expression.

Individualized Therapy Plans

Our services are tailored to meet the individual needs of your child and through multidisciplinary collaboration between the family, therapists, teachers, and other services we strive to provide a comprehensive support network where sharing insights, strategies and progress updates ensure that everyone is working together to support your child's individual needs and goals to promote better outcomes.

Therapies for the Child

We value educational settings, schools, and homes as primary environments where children spend a significant portion of their time. By incorporating therapy into these settings, it ensures that the support extends beyond the individual therapy session creating a consistent and nurturing environment to promote positive and sustainable outcomes.
